Her journey in healthcare began with her participation in the prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) program at the University of Miami, where she conducted groundbreaking research on stem cell treatments for severe aplastic anemia and explored the long-term side effects of chemotherapy. Her research contributions, published in respected medical journals, have shaped her evidence-based and holistic approach to patient care, ensuring a focus on both oral and overall health.
Building on her strong scientific foundation, Dr. Hernandez earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine. She now specializes in biological and regenerative dentistry, utilizing advanced techniques like laser dentistry, regenerative endodontics, digital dentistry, and minimally invasive dentistry to provide precise, comprehensive, and patient-friendly care.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Hernandez enjoys traveling and cooking with her fiancé, Steven. Together, they explore new places and cuisines.
