Dr. Haley Freymiller is native to Brevard County and graduated from Eau Gallie High School. She received her Bachelors and DMD degree from the University of Florida. Following dental school, she continued her education and completed a General Practice Residency at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry (OSU), where she was invited to stay a second year as Chief Resident. It was at OSU where she learned to safely treat patients who had complex medical conditions, as well as those with special needs. After this, Dr. Freymiller went on and completed a fellowship in Dental Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where she learned how to take care of patient’s dental needs prior to as well as after cancer treatments, and how to manage the many oral side effects caused by cancer treatment. She then returned to the Ohio State University and set up the Dental Oncology Clinic, treating patients in all stages of cancer treatment.
Through all of her training, Dr. Freymiller has seen the impact that the mouth has on a person’s health and quality of life, and she believes that everyone deserves to look and feel their best. She has dedicated herself to helping her patients achieve optimal oral health.
Dr. Freymiller continues on her quest of life-long learning by completing numerous continuing education courses. She is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and is pursuing the AGD Fellowship Award.
Dr. Freymiller is uniquely qualified to help patients who are about to undergo, are undergoing, or have completed cancer therapy. This sub-specialty is called Dental Oncology. She works with many local cancer and dental specialists.
