Dentures

INNOVATIONS IN TECHNOLOGY HAVE MADE PARTIAL AND FULL DENTURES MORE NATURAL LOOKING AND MUCH EASIER TO WEAR.

Partial and Complete Dentures are removable appliances used to replace missing teeth. They are commonly used when there is inadequate tooth structure for permanently-cemented replacement teeth or not enough bone structure for implant placement.

Implants can now be used to attach to a partial or complete denture to give it retention and take the pressure away from the jaw bone. New technologies have allowed us, by using IMPLANTS, to create permanent, fixed dentures! IMPLANTS also make dentures more comfortable by eliminating the need to cover the patient’s palate for retention.

Technological advancements in prosthetics and a talented lab can produce beautiful, natural looking results.

We also have the option, instead of using partial dentures with clasps, to use what dentistry calls precision attachments to CROWNS. This eliminates the noticeable clasps on partial dentures. Precision attachments are little “hooks” made on to the side of the CROWN by the lab techs. When the partial is made it has slots made into it that sit into the “hooks.” This gives the patient better retention than with traditional metal clasps, makes the appliance smaller, and looks much more natural and aesthetic.

Using Implant technology or precision attachments can make any person’s life brighter. Comfort is not the only service these technologies provide; because the partial or denture is retained, the patient’s palate need not be covered, therefore improving the wearer’s ability to speak, taste and chew food.
